About Us

Welcome to the Westchester County Police Department Police Benevolent Association website. Our organization is comprised of police officers, detectives, sergeants, lieutenants, and Captains employed by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety–better known as the Westchester County Police. More information about our department can be found on the History of the County Police page on this website and on the Westchester County Department of Public Safety Home Page (offsite).

The Westchester County Police Department Police Benevolent Association has two equally important roles. First, the PBA provides an avenue for members of the Westchester County Police to extend their passion for serving the community to off-duty hours. Our organization participates in an extensive amount of charitable activities.

Second, the association functions as a labor union representing its membership. Our goal is to ensure safe and equitable working conditions for all members. Because the Taylor law specifically prohibits striking and other labor actions, we achieve our goals through aggressive lobbying and public awareness campaigns.

We hope your experience as you navigate this website is a pleasant one. The PBA eagerly appreciates your questions and comments. We can be contacted at wcpba@optonline.net.
