Westchester County Dept. of Public
Safety Police Benevolent Association

Representing the Men and Women of the WCPD

The Westchester County Department of Public Safety Police Benevolent Association represents approximately 300 sworn members of the department in every rank. Our primary goal is to represent our membership by negotiating and enforcing a collective bargaining agreement that ensures that officers are treated fairly, operate under safe working conditions, and have the training and equipment necessary to carry out their duties. The PBA provides legal services and maintains a welfare fund which provides benefits to members. The PBA also advocates on behalf of the membership, weighing in on legislation that affects the police community.

POLICE MEMORIAL WEEK 2020: Westchester County's Fallen Officers

"When a police officer is killed, it's not an agency that loses an officer, it's an entire nation." -Chris Cosgriff

Statement from PBA President Michael Hagan in response to the Westchester District Attorney publishing a list of officers with adverse credibility:

“… The release of this list is no more than an act of grandstanding by the District Attorney in a primary race that embraces the same progressive agenda responsible for the recent failures of Criminal Justice Reform…”
